Joseph has exhibited in solo and group shows throughout New York and internationally.
His first solo showing of 150 altered cabinet cards was at Washington Square East Windows, NYU galleries. He then started showing at other New York galleries; including, Ricco-Maresca, Moeller-Snow, Foley Gallery, Fake Estates, Like the Spice (Brooklyn), among others. Joe has also shown work at the Center for Photography (Woodstock, NY), Prospect 1 (New Orleans, LA), and the Islip Arts Museum (East Islip, NY).
Joseph has works in the permanent collections of the George Eastman Kodak House Museum, Cindy Sherman, Joel Peter-Witkin, Beth Rudin DeWoody, Kyle Harding DeWoody, Uma Thurman, Benicio Del Toro and other private collections.
Joseph’s work is featured in William M. Hunt’s ”Unseen Eye," published by Aperture. This collection has travelled internationally to Switzerland, Vienna, London, Arles (France), and to the Foam Photography Museum in Amsterdam; also, the "Notebook" exhibition curated by Guy Montag in Tel Aviv is soon to be traveling internationally.
His "FotoFurniture Series" was sponsored by Design Miami and included a photo booth where participant photographs were applied to custom made furniture. This work was represented by Johnson Trading Gallery (NY) and shown at Nilufar Gallery, Milan; others included Youngblood Gallery (Sag Harbor, NY). Sculptures and Fotofurniture have been exhibited with Kyle Harding DeWoody at Grey Area (NY), Beautiful Decay, and Design Milk Online. The Fotofurniture Series has been featured in numerous publications worldwide such as Elle Decor (Japan), s (Italy), Nisha (Israel).
Joseph’s illustration work and social commentaries have been featured in publications across America, as well as in the New York Sunday Times. He has been a contributor to the New York Times ”T Magazine” and Details magazine and a featured artist in Taschen’s "Illustration Now! 2". Other works include the New Yorker, Men's Health, Radcliffe Quarterly, Seattle Weekly, and "V Magazine” men and women.
